Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using AdmitStride (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must review and consent to these terms on your behalf.

What AdmitStride Is

AdmitStride is an AI-powered college application coaching platform for students in grades 6–12, guided by your AI coach, Albert. We provide personalized guidance, milestone tracking, college list management, and deadline reminders.

Albert does not guarantee admission. The advice, recommendations, and information provided by Albert are for informational purposes only. Albert is not a replacement for professional college counseling and does not guarantee acceptance to any educational institution.

Accounts & Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.

Users under 13 require verifiable parental consent to create an account, consistent with COPPA requirements. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use AdmitStride for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
  • Submit false information in Access Grant applications
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, offensive, or illegal

Subscriptions & Billing

AdmitStride offers a free tier and a paid “AdmitStride Pro” subscription. Subscription pricing and features are described on the Upgrade page. Prices are in USD and are subject to change with advance notice.

Access Grants are a discretionary program providing free or discounted access to students with demonstrated financial need. Approval is at our sole discretion and may be revoked if information provided is found to be inaccurate.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact us at hello@admitstride.com.

Intellectual Property

The AdmitStride platform, including its design, code, and AI models (excluding third-party AI providers), is owned by AdmitStride and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create (e.g., your application essays). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content to deliver the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC SITUATION.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADMITSTRIDE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR COLLEGE APPLICATION OUTCOMES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
